New Broker-In-Charge at Briar's Creek

May 24, 2018 – Johns Island, SC – Briar's Creek Land Company is pleased to announce that Will Freeman has been named Broker-In-Charge of real estate sales for the community. A native Charlestonian who grew up on the Peninsula, he brings a wealth of local knowledge and real estate expertise to the company.

Briar's Creek is located between Downtown Charleston and Kiawah Island, SC. Set on more than 800 acres of scenic Johns Island, this exclusive family retreat provides an unhurried lifestyle and world-class golf with no tee times. The Golf Club at Briar's Creek was named America's Best New Private Course in 2002, and the community is so pristine that Audubon International designated it a Silver Signature Sanctuary.

Freeman's efforts include aggressively pricing available lots and homes to renew interest in the development stalled by the recession. To further attract buyers, Briar's Creek Land Company is focusing on flexible building requirements. There are no build time requirements for lot purchasers, the minimum home size is now 2,500 square feet, and the HOA dues are only $2,400/year. Estate lots are one to eight acres in size, offering privacy and plenty of space for creative building.

"Savvy investors and home buyers are taken with the neighborhood's natural beauty and are taking full advantage of the incentives and pricing." states Freeman. "We have several spec homes underway, and have already surpassed the 2018 sales goals for lots. It's exciting to watch the development flourish.”

It helps that Briar's Creek is adjacent to the Kiawah River Plantation development, which will feature 1,200 new homes on 2,000 acres, with 20 miles of shoreline on the Kiawah River. This development will bring more shopping, dining and amenities to the area, all of which Briar's Creek residents will benefit from. The world-renowned Kiawah Island Golf Resort is also situated across the river from both communities, and Seabrook Island is only minutes away. Charleston was ranked the "World's Best City" by readers of Travel + Leisure Magazine, and is only 20 minutes from Briar's Creek.
